I wasn't sure what to expect with this face cream, as I've never tried any other snail mucin products before, but I've been so curious about the ingredient.This product has an interesting texture. It's not slimy, but it does have a bit of a slippery, more viscous feeling. A little bit goes a long way. It feels really nice on the skin, very hydrating. It leaves your skin looking shiny, so I've been using it at night. That's actually been working out great since it kind of locks in my nighttime skincare.I don't think it feels heavy or greasy, maybe a bit sticky? But I personally don't think it feels unpleasant. The stickiness does tone down after having it on the skin for a while.I have rosacea and so far it hasn't broken me out, irritated my face or caused a flare up. In fact, it feels like it's protecting my skin and keeping it more hydrated. I could see this being the perfect product to keep in a mini skincare fridge and applying cold.It doesn't have any weird smell or anything. I was expecting it to smell strange. But aside from the texture I don't think you'd immediately be able to pinpoint "there's snail slime in this" if you didn't already know.It does have added fragrance and it makes me wonder what it would smell like without the fragrance. It smells very light and fresh, kind of nostalgic, like the lightweight moisturizer that my mom used in the 90's. I do wish it didn't have the added fragrance though because I know a lot of people prefer fragrance free skincare.Overall I'm really enjoying this cream so far. I will definitely re-order when the jar is empty.
I was a little hesitant about trying a snail cream (the name alone sounds wild), but I’ve been seeing it everywhere. It’s surprisingly amazing! The texture is lightweight and silky, not sticky or slimy like I worried it might be, and it sinks into my skin super fast. I’ve been using it morning and night for a couple weeks, and I’ve noticed my skin feels way more hydrated and plump like after you get after a facial. I really love how gentle it is. I have pretty sensitive skin, and a lot of creams leave me red or irritated, but this one just gives me a healthy glow. My makeup goes on smoother too! If you deal with dryness, dullness, or just want that glassy skin look, this is a great everyday moisturizer.
