I absolutely love this moisturizer! The HEIMISH Matcha Biome Gel feels super light on the skin but still gives amazing hydration. It sinks in quickly, doesn’t leave any greasy feeling, and works perfectly under makeup — my foundation goes on smoother and lasts longer.It gives such a fresh, natural glow and keeps my skin soft all day. I have normal to slightly dry skin, and this has been perfect for me. The calming effect is a bonus, especially if your skin gets a little sensitive. Definitely a new staple in my skincare routine! 💚
Ever since I received this moisturizer, I’ve been using it almost exclusively before bed. It’s perfect for those humid nights when I don’t want my skin to feel sticky from a creamier moisturizer. The gel has a faint, but pleasant scent, that I cannot place. I thought the moisturizer had a light gel-like consistency with a light green looking color, that had a slight matcha scent that felt fresh and cool on my skin. The moisturizer was easy to apply on my face and absorbed quick without leaving my skin feeling sticky. After a week of using this moisturizer, still didn't have any issues with my skin getting irritated and found that this was pretty effective in calming my skin, especially around the t-zone area. I have dry skin, so I don't know how effective this is with controlling oil production. The hydration level was also OK, it made my skin feel soft and moist, but the hydration didn't last. It's not bad for a moisturizer, but a little pricey.

I haven’t used a gel moisturizer before and was excited to see how this one differed from the lotion/cream moisturizers I have used in the past. I found it to be very light, with a mild/pleasant scent. It felt extremely comfortable on my skin without greasiness or an odd texture and absorbed almost immediately. Both box and tube contained directions for use, and the tube was safety-sealed. I ordered this product in June 2025 and received it with an expiration date of July 2027. For $22 (price at time of review), I was very pleased with this product.
