I like this more than I thought I would. I have sensitive skin that turns red every time I wash my face. It's not an irritation to my skincare, I'm not aggressively scrubbing, and my water isn't too hot, turning red is just something or does and it normally takes a while for it to level out. I've found that if I use this toner after washing my face, it does seem to calm down the redness quicker than anything else I've v tried. It definitely has something in it that is calming to my skin.I have combination skin that is acneprone and it works well for both issues. It does help with moisturizing without feeling heavy, oily, or drying and I haven't had any issues with my skin purging or additional breakouts from this toner. This has a green color but doesn't have a scent that I can detect. While green is what I would use as a color corrector, this does not color correct. If you are looking for something that will recolor your skin tone, you won't be happy with your product. For me at least, the redness control comes down to calming down the skin vs. changing undertones.
Great product!!
The TIRTIR matcha skin toner is definitely an on trend product with PDRN as its key ingredient. When applying to my skin, it did feel hydrating and did not irritate my sensitive skin. It is not a thick or tacky product, and is a hydrating milky toner that can be used daily or nightly and the toner itself is a lovely matcha green color. As for the calming properties, I did not notice too much of a difference when applying to areas of redness or mild acne, though it did not make it worse. It did come in a nice sturdy glass packaging and a matte outer box, which would make for a nice gift. Overall, a good daily moisturizing toner to apply after cleansing your face but perhaps not as "calming" as it claims to be.
I'm really enjoying this moisturizer. It's lightweight with a cooling effect and a very interesting texture. It really does remind me of thick pudding. It has a nice bounce without it being slimy. It absorbs quickly and leaves fresh, light feeling that's not at all greasy or sticky. I live in a humid climate and this product works exceptionally well for me. I was hoping that the green in it would help even put the rudiness in my cheeks, but it doesnt work as well as I hoped. I think this moisturizer is amazing for people looking for a light moisturizer with clean ingredients. Older combination skin will appreciate this, but it probably isn't heavy enough for very dry skin. I recommend!
The TIRTIR matcha calming cream is definitely a unique product, as the texture is like pudding or a non-Newtonian fluid (not exactly solid or liquid). When applying to my skin, it did feel hydrating and did not irritate my sensitive skin. It is not a thick or occlusive product, and gives a similar hydration level to a gel-cream moisturizer and can be used daily or nightly. As for the calming properties, I did not notice too much of a difference when applying to areas of redness or mild acne, though it did not make it worse. It did come in a nice sturdy glass packaging and with an included spatula, which would make for a nice gift. Overall, a good moisturizer but perhaps not as "calming" as it claims to be.
